Our 2024 Journey – Continuing Innovation, Purpose & Growth
December 19, 2024
As we head into 2025, we are looking to continue our mission of Protecting Our Most Valuable Resources by providing technology and solutions that result in the sustainable use of water, biogas and biosolids.
Over the last year Hydroflux has significantly enhanced its market position across its regions, becoming a key choice for local municipalities, prominent local and multinational businesses and major Tier 1 contractors. This success is driven by the company’s ability to deliver innovative and sustainable water and wastewater treatment solutions tailored to the unique needs of industries and communities alike. Hydroflux has firmly established itself as a leader in its field, consistently appealing to customers who prioritise quality, and those with ambitious sustainability goals.
We are very proud to share some milestones that shaped our year. These include a diverse range of projects across the municipal and industrial sector with initiatives that drive innovation, sustainability, and contribute to a healthier plant.
Some Project Highlights
- Upgrade of a 7.2MLD MBR based sewage plant with new membrane modules and disinfection system to achieve higher water quality and reuse potential.
- 1.5MLD advanced metal removal process for an industrial manufacturer that will use Australia’s first dNF technology (hollow fibre nano filtration).
- Expanded range of specialty chemicals, service and maintenance.
- 2.4MLD high-rate anaerobic/aerobic treatment and gas recovery project which will feature Australia’s first ECSB anaerobic process for a major F&B manufacturer.
- Two thermal biosolids belt dryer projects to process municipal biosolids that will form part of a process that will ultimately result in the circular use of this byproduct.
- Design and build of Hygienic HyPURE® RO and HyIX® systems for two leading global drinks manufacturers.
- Expanded rental fleet for emergency relief that includes clarification technology, containerized sludge dewatering plant, chemical make up and dosing systems, filtration packages and instrumentation.
- Completion of two major ESG frameworks for international customers based in Fiji and PNG.
- Design, build and operate of a decentralised recycled water plant using Organica technology together with HyPURE® NX.
As we reflect on the past year, it is impossible to overstate the importance of our staff to Hydroflux’s success. Every achievement, every milestone, and every step forward we have taken is a direct result of their hard work, dedication, and expertise.
This year, in addition to our business achievements, we’ve also reinforced our commitment to giving back to the communities and industries we serve. Thanks to the support and enthusiasm of our team, we’ve been able to make a meaningful impact through initiatives such as:
- Providing over 11 wells via Love Mercy in Uganda, helping to improve access to clean water.
- Supporting the Camp Quality Car Rally, raising vital funds for children’s cancer research and family support.
- Participating in Relay for Life, contributing to cancer research and post-treatment survivor care.
- Assisting the Waiau PA Volunteer Fire Brigade (NZ) with the purchase of new equipment.
In addition to our community efforts, we’ve strengthened our leadership within the industry through key sponsorships, including:
- Being a proud sponsor of AWA OzWater 2024, AWA WA Sundowner, and AWA North QLD Conference.
- Sponsoring The Hive Awards, a Food & Drink industry initiative celebrating excellence.
These initiatives reflect Hydroflux’s broader mission of not just excelling in our field but also contributing positively to the world around us.
As the year comes to a close, we take pride in what we’ve accomplished and carry this momentum, along with Hydroflux’s strengthened position into an even more successful year ahead!
We wish all of our customers, suppliers and industry partners a Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous 2025!
