The Quiet Achiever – How Secondary Clarifiers Play an Important Role in Wastewater Treatment

June 27, 2024

Circular clarifies have been in use for almost a century. Their importance in the liquid process stream is critical to the operation and performance of activated sludge-based processes. These units sit towards the end of the process train resulting in secondary effluent that is either discharged to the environment or treated further for reuse.

Hydroflux has designed and manufactured over 350 circular clarifiers with installations across ANZ Pacific, Asia and the Middle East, for both municipal and industrial applications. Our heavy-duty design and track record is demonstrated by the fact that we have numerous units in operation some 35 years since being commissioned.

Our range of clarifier technology includes:

We have developed solutions for launder trough cleaning that includes:

  • CleanSweep® – roller brush clearing assembly to clear launders
  • LaunderShield® – stainless steel launder trough covers to stop algae growth
