Installation Requirements

The core of the containerised sludge dewatering rental equipment is a HUBER RoS3Q 440.2 inclined screw press, capable of handling a sludge capacity of up to 5000 L/hr, depending on the application.

The installation place must meet the following requirements:

  • Flat surface ≈ 8 x 5 metres (for 20-foot container)
  • Floor loading capacity ≈ 8,000 kg
  • Potable water ≈ 500 L/hr
  • 3-phase power ≈ max. draw up to 36 Amps (connect via containers 50 Amp 5-pin inlet socket)
  • Ability to remove spadable sludge
  • Somewhere to pump the supernatant

Dimensions

  • Length: 6100 mm
  • Width: 2500 mm
  • Height: 2800 mm

Control system
The panel contains a 6” HMI whereby full control is provided for the entire dewatering system, including the polymer plant.

Enhance Your Installation with Optional Components

Our advanced water treatment and management systems can be customised with a variety of optional components, each designed to address specific challenges and enhance operational efficiency. These optional upgrades ensure your setup is perfectly tailored to meet the unique conditions and requirements of your site.

  • Reverse Osmosis System: For locations dealing with high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), high hardness, or high alkalinity, our optional reverse osmosis system is ideal. This system pre-treats polymer make-up water, optimising performance by preventing scale and other common issues associated with hard water.
  • Conical-Bottom Sludge Feed Tank: Our optional 10 kL conical-bottom sludge feed tank is equipped with a level sensor and is designed to buffer the supply of thin sludge from your pond or process stream. This tank stabilizes the feed rate, improving the efficiency of the downstream processing and ensuring smoother operations.
  • Pontoon and Submersible Sludge Pump: Tailor your system for effective sludge removal with our optional pontoon setup, which includes a submersible sludge pump and floated pipework. This setup is essential for efficiently extracting thin sludge from ponds or lagoons, ensuring consistent operation and preventing downtime due to sludge accumulation.
  • Grinder Unit: Integrate a grinder unit into your thin-sludge line to enhance the functionality of your containerised dewatering plant. This grinder is specifically designed to handle and reduce entangled fibers, and other challenging materials, thereby preventing blockages and maintaining the efficiency of the system.
